Additional Information

The Ebian Gr was first incorporated into the Proterozoic era by Shen Xing Fu in 1940. Zeng and He (1949) called it as Ebian metamorphosed rocks. The Duhe Geological Brigade calls it as Ebian System; The Mapping Group of Chengdu-Kunming along the line changes it to Ebian Gr. The Sichuan Bureau of geological and mineral (1997) divided the Ebian Gr into the Taoziba, Jiadanqiao and Cizhu formations from bottom to up. Late, the Ebian Gr had been subdivided into the Taoziba, Jiadanqiao, Lanbaoping and Cizhu formations in 1997.
